Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. By using AttendingFi, you agree to them.

Last updated: June 2026

1. Who we are

AttendingFi ("AttendingFi," "we," "us," or "our") is a free, educational student-loan decision tool for physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals, operated from a mailing address at 3225 McLeod Dr, Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89121. AttendingFi is an early-stage service and is not currently incorporated as a separate legal entity; it is operated by its founder as a sole proprietorship. You can reach us at hello@attendingfi.com.

2. What AttendingFi is — and isn't

AttendingFi provides educational estimates and modeling only. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and your use of it does not create any advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and AttendingFi. We are not a lender, a loan servicer, a registered investment adviser, a broker, or a financial planner. The tool's output is a decision aid to help you ask better questions — not a recommendation to take any specific action.

Federal student-loan rules for 2026, including the Repayment Assistance Plan (RAP), are new and still being implemented by the U.S. Department of Education and loan servicers. Rules, rates, and tax treatment can change, including after you have made a decision. Always verify current rules at studentaid.gov and consult a qualified professional before acting.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use AttendingFi. The tool is intended for use in the United States.

4. Your account

Creating an account is optional and requires only an email address; we use passwordless, one-time-code sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email account you use. You agree to provide accurate information and not to access another person's account or misuse the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated saved data at any time by emailing hello@attendingfi.com.

5. Accuracy and estimates

We work to make AttendingFi the most accurate physician-focused student-loan modeling tool available, built to current federal rules and citing official government sources. However, all output is an estimate that depends on the information you enter and on program rules, tax law, interest rates, servicer behavior, and your personal circumstances. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, savings amount, forgiveness result, or interest rate. Income figures, refinance rates, and similar values shown in the tool are illustrative and may not reflect what you actually qualify for.

6. Affiliate relationships

AttendingFi may earn a referral or affiliate fee if you choose to refinance through certain partner lenders or marketplaces linked from the tool. This compensation exists only on the refinance path and does not influence our analysis, rankings, or which option is marked "recommended." For borrowers on a Public Service Loan Forgiveness track, our tool will advise against refinancing even though we earn nothing in that case. See our Disclosures for details.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its data; (c) submit false or another person's information; or (d) use the service to provide financial advice to third parties as if it were professional advice. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse.

8. Intellectual property

The AttendingFi name, content, guides, design, and software are owned by AttendingFi and its founder and are protected by applicable laws. You may use the tool for your own personal, non-commercial decision-making. You may not copy, republish, or redistribute our content or build a competing product from it without permission.

9. Third-party links and services

The tool links to third-party sites (such as lenders and government resources) and uses third-party services (such as Google Analytics and our authentication/database provider). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third parties. Your use of their services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

AttendingFi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate will prove accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AttendingFi, its founder, and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, savings, tax benefit, forgiveness, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service or your reliance on its output — even if advised of the possibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you; nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AttendingFi and its founder from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

13. Changes

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the service will be resolved on an individual basis (not as a class action), and you and AttendingFi agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting hello@attendingfi.com.
